I hope this is the right place to post, but I seem to have encountered a bug in either os.Exec or the tool I want to run.

https://play.golang.org/p/SzFt9njECD

The first tool runs perfectly fine, whereas the second tool (nikto) throws an error about an unkown option. Interestingly, when I copy the command form the last line of the output, it works as it should.

Am I overlooking an obvious mistake?

ex := exec.Command("whatweb", "--color=never", fmt.Sprintf("%s", site))

doesn't need the fmt.Sprintf

ex := exec.Command("whatweb", "--color=never", site)
