<p>Hey, given the popularity of all the 'generics for Go!' threads, I just wanted to make one to the contrary. I love the idea of Go as a language that emphasizes a frugal design and eschews a lot of the features that come with other languages. Its a big reason why I've picked up Go. Further, it requires a slightly different approach to solve problems with a simple but powerful toolset, which is really refreshing, and I hope that it stays that way. </p>
