<p>If I'm not wrong, there is no dedicated golang IDE on android. There are other ide's like Dcodr and Online Compiler, but they use very old golang releases and incorporate golang very poorly when compared to other languages. Almost like they are including it for the sake of it.</p>
<p>A Golang IDE on a mobile will be better for quick coding on the go, and could serve beginners better that the heavily restricted Go playground.</p>

<p>The question is however, and maybe because of my lack of understanding, why do we <strong>need</strong> such an editor for Android / other mobile platforms. In which conditions does it need to operate? What are the cases where the above vim combination wouldn't be enough? </p></pre>
