ICNS is the icon file format that OSX uses for its apps.

Attempting to wrap the OSX built in "iconutil" to generate icns files was hard to test, and messy to implement. In response to these frustrations I wrote a Go library to create icns files easily.

Perhaps someone else might find this useful.

P.S. The "correctness" of the encoding was determined by whether Finder (OSX file explorer) could identify and use the encoded file. I'm open to suggestions on how to test the encoder without relying on the decoder built into Finder.
