i would like to read video stream dimensions (width, height) in video file - is it possible with pure go without using shared libs or system calls to other binaries?

**评论:**

pdffs:

"video file" is unfortunately not a very useful qualifier - there are numerous different video containers. If you can narrow it down to a single container type, or a limited set, there may be libraries that will let you read metadata for the contained streams.

As a more general answer, there's certainly nothing stopping Go as a language from obtaining this information from files in pure Go, it's just a matter of writing parsers.
