I've been going through various sites like indeed and the like searching for development jobs, but I also wanted to extend my reach by checking here too.
Currently I have been working as a Linux SysAd at a very large company for over 5 years now. As a hobbyist developer, I've played with various languages. I have a large amount of notes that I've accumulated learning various languages from C++, Java, Ruby, PHP, Javascript, Go, and even Bash in my github repositories. I've been doing programming since I was teen back in 2012.
I'm trying to find a somewhere that will invest in growing with instead of just being treated like an employee, being a valuable team member on a team that is actually doing new things and building new technologies. I know might not have the answer for every question, but a skill I bring to the table is the ability to learn how to solve a problem.
Any additional guidance on how I could pursue this further would be extremely appreciated. This is new to me as I'm actually trying to make a slight career shift. I mostly just don't know if there are any places doing anything interesting other than just typical website commerce type stuff. Also I'm open to relocating if the employer is willing to help facilitate that.
