Hello, i'm currently working on a project with an arduino.

So my part of work was to get the Data of the buffer on the arduino on the computer and process them in Golang.
The arduino buffer get all the data in one string, and at first i need to separate them, thank to string.Split()
But now, i have to use them, in some equations to obtain new data, like speed and for this i need to exploit them, so to get float data.

I'm a beginner at GO and i was wondering if it was a function or an easy way to transform a string into a float.
Like your string is str := "-1.27" and you can get a float whose equal to -1.27
I don't know if it was the good place to ask, so if it's not, i'm sorry to bothering you .

First when i searched i found all time the inverse.

Sorry to waste your time because of my bad research on google.
Thank a lot
