The zero value of a Boolean is false. Then, when unmarshaling JSON in a web service, how do you differentiate missing Boolean variable (meaning it's not required or to be changed) and a false variable (meaning it's required or to be set to false)? I'm currently thinking of switching booleans to enums. But wanted to see if others have a better solution.
