<p>I've just updated and improved <code>present-tex</code>, a tool that takes a
present presentation in the <code>.slide</code> format, and spits out a .tex file
(using the beamer LaTeX package):</p>

<p>rationale: the .slide present format is nice and slides do look great
but when you are required to provide a PDF version of your talk for a
conference and when the embedded PDF printer of your $BROWSER doesn't
look as nice as it could be, directly converting the .slide file into
a .tex one can be handy.</p>
<p>there are a few possible improvements in the (beamer) templates
handling department...
