I am trying to develop caching mechanism which would cache image for the golang web server. Any ideas how to do this.
I found about groupcache but don't know how to use it. Any tutorials or examples are welcomed.

With a sync.rwmutex. Now i use https://github.com/diegobernardes/ttlcache

joshuaprunier:

This blog post does a really good job explaining how groupcache works as a client/server. They also have a github repo example to play with. Groupcache is really cool but could be overkill depending on what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
