<p>I'm building a mini SDK for Splunk using golang--I forked a working package that was very basic (just provided connection to splunk). </p>
<p>I am going through all of the Splunk REST API endpoints and making them functions so I can use them in a project I am working on (it's a hassle to call an HTTP method and pass a specfiic endpoint URL every time). </p>
<p>I have a good working repo but the code is kind of messy (If there is 1 endpoint with multiple methods like GET, POST, DELETE, I have a seperate function for each type of method).</p>
<p>Would it be a good practice to combine the functions for the same endpoint and then use a parameter to check for the method (GET/POST/DELETE)? </p>
