The Go Programming Language by D&K states
range
produces a pair of values: the index and the value of the element at that index. However, it seems the index and the value iterate separately?

For example:

for index, value := range os.Args[1:] {
fmt.Println(index, value)
}

Passing
arg1 arg2
:

0 arg1
1 arg2

Since the value of index
1
/
2
is
arg1
/
arg2
, does any change from
[0:]
in a range therefore require an adjustment to the index (such as using
index+1
for
range os.Args[1:]
) to get the real index for each value?

**评论:**

jcbwlkr:

When you do
os.Args[1:]
you're re-slicing os.Args into a new slice and then
range
ing over that new slice. The new slice has indices starting at 0.

thegopl:

Thanks!

pierrrre:

http://play.golang.org/p/UqVOPKo5D9

rafailong:

I think that the value of index o is the name of the program that is executed.
