Silly thought: is Go the new Windows NT?

<p>I was just thinking to myself how &#34;Go being the C Killer&#34; reminds of of how &#34;Windows NT was the Unix Killer&#34; back in the early 1990&#39;s.</p> <p>Windows NT was designed to be a modern alternative to Unix that was safe for &#34;ordinary folks&#34; to use.</p> <p>Of course, thankfully, Linux was lurking in the shadows.</p> <p>Is this an analogy worthy of discussion or just a stupid thought?</p> <hr/>**评论：**<br/><br/>WellAdjustedOutlaw: <pre><p>NT was never going to be the Unix killer.
