<p>I was just thinking to myself how "Go being the C Killer" reminds of of how "Windows NT was the Unix Killer" back in the early 1990's.</p>
<p>Windows NT was designed to be a modern alternative to Unix that was safe for "ordinary folks" to use.</p>
<p>Of course, thankfully, Linux was lurking in the shadows.</p>
<p>Is this an analogy worthy of discussion or just a stupid thought?</p>
