I'm trying to build a simple (but multi-file) Go program without any dynamic-linked libraries, but none of the 'usual' solutions seem to change anything.

I have tried:

go build -a -tags netgo <FILES TO BUILD>
go build --ldflags '-extldflags "-static"' <FILES TO BUILD>

and various combinations of the two.

I have seen this process successfully build with static instead of dynamic in the past, but for some reason I've had this same issue on various occassions/projects, and I'm still unsure why.

Any insight is very much appreciated! :)
