Sr. Mobile Engineer, Android SDK
Responsibilities:
- Develop Vungle’s new Android SDK product
- Work on the architecture and design of SDK features
- Contribute to the design and development of the Vungle API that supports the SDK
- Work closely with integration engineers to support various publisher apps
- Solve challenging problems in the areas of on-device caching, memory management, multi-device support and more
- Maintain SDK stability supporting multiple Android versions and devices
- Collect and analyze SDK logging to debug and fix issues
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Experience with Android SDK and Java language
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Git or another version control system
- Experience building libraries is a plus
- Working familiarity with Vungle's ecosystem: gaming, apps, AdTech, etc. at any scale is a plus

Sr. Software Engineer, Platform
Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple site teams to develop Vungle's core product within Agile framework
- Lead or co-lead product feature design, implementation and release
- Debug and resolve problems in different backend systems
- Continuously optimize the performance of existing systems to provide better SLA to meet core business requirements
- Contribute to engineering process improvement
- Contribute to product and engineering project roadmap planning
- Deliver simple, clean, reusable and easy-to-maintain source codes
Requirements:
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Interested in expanding your knowledge of emerging technologies
- You are data-driven and passionate about system performance; making conscious performance trade-offs and you enjoy profiling a system
- Passionate about helping others and invested in the team’s success
- Possess some knowledge on various concurrency patterns, system and interface designs, as well as scaling systems
- Good understanding of low-latency, high-throughput backend services
- Object-oriented programming or functional programming, problem-solving, data structures and system architecture experience
Nice to Have:
- Previous professional experience writing in Golang, C/C++, Java, NodeJS
- Experience using Redis, Mongo, Kafka and NoSQL databases
- Experience using Kubernetes, aws, gcp
- AdTech experience is a plus
